WIDEN ON Jem’s house from the forest across the street while a few birds gracefully fly by chirping.

Int. Jem’s house – kitchen

CLOSE ON (FV) Chelsey’s face while she seems wide-awake and smiling brightly.

Chelsey
MOOOOOORNING!

ZOOM OUT on Chelsey as she holds her arms out over the breakfast table with a full spread of various foods.

Come and get it everyone! Breakfast is served!

CLOSE ON and PAN over the fabulous spread with a bloom effect and twinkling sparkles.

POV – over Chelsey’s shoulder – Jem wobbles his way into the kitchen, still half asleep while rubbing his left eye.

Hmm? Jem, where’s Pocky?

CLOSE ON Jem as he stops in front of the table.

Jem
Upstairs playing on the Xii, she says she’s not feeling well

CLOSE ON Chelsey’s face as she frowns.

Chelsey
Hmm…

POV – behind Jem – Jem sits down at the table while Chelsey has her hands on her waist.

Well you get started eating while I go upstairs and see what’s the problem~

Suddenly the house shakes as it’s hit by a small tremor.

CLOSE ON (UV) Jem’s startled face as he blinks.

Jem
(startled)
What was that?

CLOSE ON (OV) a glass of orange juice on the table as another tremor causes it to ripple (like in Jurassic Park).

CLOSE ON Chelsey’s face as it quickly takes a serious expression.

Chelsey
Oh no…

CLOSE ON (UV) Jem’s face.

Jem
Is it an earthquake?

POV – Jem – Chelsey looks out the kitchen window quietly with her eyes glaring.

Chelsey
(dead serious)
No, this may be an anime but it definitely ain’t set in Japan.

CLOSE ON Jem’s face as his eyes widen.

Jem
(thinking)
Huh?! Anime? Not set in Japan?

CLOSE ON Chelsey’s face while she looks at the window (OS).

(OS)
What do you mean by that Chelsey?

Chelsey realizes what she just blurted out and her eyes widen as looks over at Jem speechlessly.

Chelsey
Uh?!

Suddenly a MASSIVE tremor hits, causing Chelsey to fall forward (going OS).

Ext. Downtown area – late morning – sunny

CLOSE ON (SV) the massive furry pink dinosaur like foot of a giant creature as it stomps into to ground.

Int. Jem’s house – kitchen

CLOSE ON Jem as he falls to the ground Chelsey on top of him.

Jem
AH! What’s going on?!

Chelsey cover’s Jem’s mouth with her hand.

POV – Jem – Chelsey sits up on top of Jem and looks over at the kitchen window biting her lip.

Mm?

CLOSE ON (UV) Chelsey’s face.

Not this…anything but this…

Ext. downtown area – late morning – sunny

CLOSE ON (FV) a random house’s front door as a man steps outside and bends down to pick up his morning paper.

CLOSE ON the man’s face as he smiles gratefully at the sight of the newspaper.

Random man
Ah…I wonder what’ll be in the news today…huh?

The man looks up…and suddenly his jaw drops dynamically while his left eye twitches.

Uh! …UH! ...

ZOOM OUT from the man to across the street from his house.

aaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAH!!!!!!

Suddenly the monster’s other foot STOMPS into the ground in front of the man’s house.

WIDEN ON (UV) the massive creature that’s presented in an actual live action costume, which resembles a fuzzy pink version of Godzilla. It roars furiously and a subtle appears at the bottom of the screen, labeling the beast “Plushzilla”.

Int. Jem’s house – stairs

CLOSE ON Jem’s feet as he dashes up the stairs as fast as he can.

Int. Jem’s house – Jem’s room

WIDEN ON (FV) Pocky lying on her side in front of the TV (OS) while she plays away at a video game, seemingly oblivious to everything that’s going on outside as Jem slides in behind her.

Jem
Pocky! There’s a giant monster out there!

Pocky
Yeeeah I know.

Jem’s arms slouch comically.

Jem
You pulled it out of Hammerspace didn’t you?

Pocky
Yeeep.

Jem bows his head comically.

Jem
That figures…

Jem looks at Pocky again.

Whhhhy?

POV – Jem – Pocky looks over her shoulder at Jem.

Pocky
Because your secret agent lady friend was getting cocky and thought she had all my plans on a rusty hook so I decided to one up her.

WIDEN ON (FV) Pocky and Jem as he points in the direction of the balcony door.

Jem
By unleashing that thing?!

Pocky
Pretty much.

Jem bows his head comically again.

Jem
Oi…

WIDEN ON (SV) Jem and Pocky as Chelsey runs into the room and stops in front of Pocky’s feet.

Chelsey
POCKY!!!

POV – Chelsey – Pocky turns her head to look over at Chelsey (OS)

Pocky
Hmmmmm?

CLOSE ON Chelsey’s face as she glares down at Pocky.

Chelsey
GRRrr…

Another tremor shakes the house.

POV – balcony door – Jem, Chelsey and Pocky as the tremor calms down.

You’re lucky I got bigger things to deal with right now!

POV – Chelsey – Pocky snickers.

Pocky
Literally.

POV – balcony door – Pocky rolls over on her stomach and starts laughing uncontrollably.

Chelsey
GRRRRR!!!

Another tremor rocks the house and Chelsey storms past Jem and Pocky.

WIDEN Chelsey runs up to the balcony door, opens it and rushes out onto the balcony.

Ext. Jem’s house – balcony – late morning – sunny

POV – behind Chelsey – Chelsey runs up to the railing of the balcony and looks ahead at Plushzilla rampaging in the distance.

CLOSE ON while she grits her teeth and grips onto the railing.

Hmm…this is going to require a little more then an army.

CLOSE ON Chelsey’s hand as she pulls out a special cell phone.

CLOSE ON the keypad as Chelsey pushes the numbers; 3, 4, 9, 2 and suddenly all sorts of flashy glowing colors emit around the phone.

Ext. Defenders of the Earth command center – late morning – sunny

ZOOM IN on a big and mysterious building shaped like a closed stadium that’s surrounded mountains.

Int. Defenders of the Earth command center – control room

CLOSE ON Gamma-5, a colorful child sized robot with a UFO shaped head as it walks around the center of the big circle shaped control panel, panicking while alarms go off.

Gamma-5
Ai-yi-yi! Command-Z! It’s the distress signal! Another city must be in danger of crumbling to the forces of evil!

POV – Gamma-5 – a giant test tube in front of the control panel suddenly lights up and a big hologram of some Commander-Z’s baldhead appears.

Commander-Z
Gamma-5, calm down! Lets attend to the distress signal already!

POV – Commander-Z – Gamma-5 suddenly stops acting like an idiot and salutes the big floating hologram head.

Gamma-5
Yes Commander-Z! Right away!

Gamma-5 walks to a random set of controls and pushes a few buttons.

It’s Chelsey Tavarez sir, and it sounds like something bad’s going on!

Commander-Z (OS)
Put her on display.

Gamma-5
Right away!

WIDEN behind Gamma-5 as a big hologram screen showing Chelsey with the cell phone against her ear appears

CLOSE ON (UV) Commander-Z.

Commander-Z
Chelsey, what’s the emergency?

Ext. Jem’s house – balcony – late morning – sunny

POV – behind Chelsey – Plushzilla continues to rampage in the far distant downtown section of the city.

Chelsey
At my current location there’s a giant monster that’s on the verge of destroying the city!

Int. Defenders of the Earth command center – control room

WIDEN behind Gamma-5 as Chelsey (as seen in the hologram screen) somehow looks down at Gamma-5 and Commander-Z despite not looking into any kind of camera aimed at her in the first place.

We need the help of none other then the Genkai Rangers!!!

Commander-Z
Affirmative! They’re on their way!

POV – Commander-Z – Gamma-5 turns around and looks up at Commander-Z (OS).

(OS)
Gamma, summon the Genkai Rangers immediately!

Gamma-5
Right away sir!

CLOSE ON Gamma-5’s hand as he pushes a random glowing button.

WIDEN ON (OV) the control panel as red, blue, yellow green and black colored beams of sparking energy shoot in from out of nowhere and fade away to reveal 5 male teenagers. These teens consist of a parody version Heero Yue from Gundam Wing, Rick Hunter from Robotech, Jason from the original season of Power Rangers, Van from Vision of Escaflowne and Asuka from Evangelion.

CLOSE ON Jason who stands in the middle of the group as they all look up at Commander-Z (OS).

Jason
What’s the problem Commander-Z?

POV – Jason – Commander-Z looks down at the teens while his head continues to float.

Commander-Z
A city is under attack by a giant monster! And it’s only hope is you five, the Genkai Rangers!

CLOSE ON Jason as he nods with a stern rugged look on his face.

Jason
Right! That’s all we needed to know!

Jason turns around to face the other 4 teenagers.

You know what this means guys?

Heero, Van, Asuka and Rick
Right!

CLOSE ON (FV) Jason as he turns around and stares at the screen.

Jason
It’s transformation time!

The Genka Rangers logo flashing at the screen.

(FV) Jason does an obligatory action pose.

Power of the Fire Fox!

(FV) Heero does an obligatory action pose.

Heero
Power of the Wind Wolf!

(FV) Rick does an obligatory action pose.

Power of the Water Moose!

(FV) Van does an obligatory action pose.

(FV) Asuka does a more sex appeal driven action pose.

WIDEN ON (FV) all five of the teenager together as they hold their poses while all sorts of bizarre flashes occur until they suddenly dawn color coordinated outfits that clearly spoof the Power Rangers (Asuka’s also posing as a nod to Pikachu).

WIDEN ON (OV) the control room as the Genkai Rangers turn into beams of light that shoot upward (going OS).

Int. Defenders of the Earth command center – Mecha hanger room

CLOSE ON (FV) Jason randomly hopping into the cockpit of his super Jet vehicle.

CLOSE ON (FV) Rick randomly hopping into the cockpit of his super Jet vehicle.

CLOSE ON (FV) Van randomly hopping into the cockpit of his super Jet vehicle.

CLOSE ON (FV) Heero randomly hopping into the cockpit of his super Jet vehicle.

CLOSE ON (FV) Asuka randomly hopping into the cockpit of her super Jet vehicle.

WIDEN ON (OV) the 5 Genkai Ranger’s oversized vehicles that vaguely resemble giant fighter jets while they sit in the hanger room with 3 in the front and 2 in the back.

WIDEN (UV) behind the Genkai Ranger’s vehicles as their thrusters ignite and they blast off down the long corridor ahead of them!

(SV) the vehicles race down the corridor at amazing speeds while lights on the ceilings pan over them quickly.

Ext. Defenders of the Earth command center – late morning – sunny

WIDEN ON the front of the command center from an angle as rectangle shaped cannon slides out

CLOSE ON the end of the cannon as the Genkai Ranger’s vehicles each shoot out from it like rockets.

WIDEN ON the 5 Genkai Ranger vehicles as they fly through the air in formation.

POV – over Jason’s shoulder – He looks down at the radar screen in the middle of his vehicle’s control panel while a red dot blinks on a map.

CLOSE ON (FV) Jason as he holds up his fist.

Jason
All right team! Full speed ahead towards the location of that monster!

SPLIT SCREEN of all 5 Genkai Rangers as they all nod and raise a fist.

All 5 Genkai Rangers
RIGHT!

CUT TO behind the Genkai Ranger’s vehicles as they all break the sound barrier and fly off into the distance until they’re nothing but dots.

Ext. Jem’s hometown – downtown – day  – sunny

WIDEN ON Plushzilla smashing down a few buildings while news helicopters fly around the beast.

CLOSE ON (UV) one of the cameramen in a helicopter as they hang out of the helicopter and film Plushzilla (OS).

Int. Jem’s house – Jem’s bedroom

PAN behind Jem while he sits on his bed watching the news on TV with Pocky while she lies on her side on the floor in front of the TV.

(Off the television)
The monster that just moments ago entered the city appears to be taking its time as it ravages structures around it, almost like it’s savoring every bit of destruction it causes!

POV – TV – Jem stays silent yet on edge while Pocky looks on with a frown.

Ext. Jem’s house – balcony – day – sunny

CLOSE ON Chelsey as she leans over the railing, letting her arms dangle in the wind.

Chelsey
(Sigh) What’s taking those Genkai Rangers so long? News copters are already here! …Oi, at this rate the city’s going me totaled by the time they get here.

Chelsey blinks and looks up.

Huh?

POV – behind Chelsey – she stands up properly as she sees the Genkai Ranger’s vehicles fly by in the air.

Oh, speak of the devil.

CLOSE ON Jason from outside the cockpit window of his vehicle while he looks down at Plushzilla (OS).

POV – above Jason’s vehicle – Plushzilla looks up at the Genkai Rangers while he holds a chunk of a building in his fuzzy hands.

Plushzilla
Rawwwr…

CLOSE ON the ground in front of Plushzilla as he drops the chunk of building.

WIDEN ON (FV) Plushzilla as the 5 Genkai Rangers fly around the beast and head towards the screen. ZOOM into Jason’s cockpit as his vehicle headed right towards the middle of the screen.

Jason
All right guys, this is it! Lets take down this monster before he causes any more destruction!

SPLIT SCREEN – all 5 Genkai Rangers now and raise a fist.

Jason, Van, Asuka, Rick and Heero
RIGHT!

POV – Plushzilla – the Genkai Rangers cheesy 90s metal rock theme song kicks in as they fly further from Plushzilla but then JET 90 degrees up into the sky.

CLOSE ON (OV) Genkai Ranger’s vehicles as they all suddenly dive towards the ground in straight line. ZOOM in towards Jason’s vehicle at the front as one of the others (OS) flying past him.

(UV) the vehicle that flew ahead (Asuka’s) suddenly flies right above a very long road. The vehicle splits in two and simultaneously transforms into a pair of robot legs from the knee down that smash/grind across the road like it was made of glass.

WIDEN ON the next vehicle (Heero’s) as it transforms into the waist and thighs of the robot’s legs with the waist section aiming down at the city.

WIDEN ON the robot’s lower legs as the waist section spins around and smashes into them and lock into place perfectly, thus completing the lower half of the body.

WIDEN ON Jason’s vehicle as it flies down towards the lower half of the robot and transforms into the main body and slams into place with all sorts of sparks flying.

CLOSE ON (FV) the body of the robot as Rick and Van’s vehicles fly past each side of it and transform into the arms in front of the screen. They then swing back hard and the shoulders lock into place with all sorts of over the top sparks and flashes. ZOOM IN on the top of the body as the finished Mecha’s head springs out and its golden eyes beam out of dark sockets.

ZOOM OUT (UV) on the mighty completed robot as it does an obligatory action pose while the Genkai Rangers say it’s over the top motto.

Jason, Heero, Van, Rick and Asuka
Defender of truth and justice! Champion over all that is evil in the universe! Iron armored warrior! Genkai GoGenKei!!!

The giant Mecha warrior holds a mighty pose while background changes blue, showing a sketched drawing of an eagle behind the Japanese Kanji for the “love”.

WIDEN ON Plushzilla as he laughs evilly but the live action costume’s mouth only flops around as he talks.

Plushzilla
Ha, ha, ha! Foolish Genkai Rangers! You cannot defeat me! I am Plushzilla! The strongest warrior of the Nega-Galaxy!

POV – Plushzilla – Genkai GoGenKei, now suddenly replaced with a live action costume version of the animated counterpart stands in the middle of the torn up city while holding a very typical karate stance. ZOOM IN on the Genkai GoGenKei’s face.

Int. Genkai GoGenKei – control room/cockpit

(FV) Jason sits at the front-middle of the control room/cockpit while Rick is to his left and Heero is to his right while Asuka and Van sit behind them (respectively).

CLOSE ON (FV) Jason while he raises his fist.

Jason
Ok guys! Lets bring him down with the Genkai Battle Saber!

PAN left to Rick and Asuka as they look at Jason (OS) and nod.

Rick & Asuka
Right!

PAN right to Heero and Van look at Jason (OS) and nod to

Heero & Van
Right!

Ext. downtown area – day – hazy

POV – Plushzilla – The background fades black as the Genkai GoGenKei’s left hand begins to glow and it pulls out a long silver sword.

CLOSE ON (FV) the Genkai GoGenKei as it powers up and SLASHES the sword across the screen at a downward angle, unleashing a powerful wave of energy.

POV – the Genkai GoGenKei – the slash of energy RACES towards Plushzilla with great force.

CLOSE ON Plushzilla as the slash hits his body but it doesn’t even leave a scratch.

CLOSE ON Plushzilla’s head.

Plushzilla
Ha, ha, ha! Such puny attacks won’t harm me!

ZOOM IN on the Genkai GoGenKei.

Int. Genkai GoGenKei – control room/cockpit

ZOOM IN on Jason’s helmet.

Jason
Oh no! It didn’t work!

CLOSE ON Van while he looks at something on his dashboard monitors.

(OS)
Von! What do the scanners say about Plushzilla?

Van
Not much Jay, just that he’s from another demission and that his skin is made of cells that are completely indestructible!

CLOSE ON (FV) Jason as he turns his head forward and looks at Plushzilla (OS).

Jason
Invincible eh? Well let’s see how tough it really is!

SPLIT SCREEN – all the Genkai Rangers nod.

Jason, Van, Rick, Heero & Asuka
RIGHT!

POV – Jason – he presses a few buttons and them pulls on a switch.

Jason
Bringing out the Genkai Battle Cannon!

Ext. downtown area – day – hazy

WIDEN ON (UV) the Genkai GoGenKei as it tosses its sword away.

CLOSE ON a group of houses as the giant sword squashes them like ants.

(UV) the Genkai GoGenKei takes a stance one would do when trying to hold a bazooka over their shoulder.

CLOSE ON and PAN across the glowing outline of a giant bazooka/cannon that appears over the Genkai GoGenKei’s shoulder.

WIDEN ON (UV) the Genkai GoGenKei as the glowing outline flashes and turns into an actual cannon.

CLOSE ON the top of the Genkai Battle Cannon as a flat rectangle shaped targeting scope pops out.

Int. Genkai GoGenKei – control room/cockpit

POV – back of the room – the Rangers watch while the targeting scope drops in front of the Genkai GoGenKei’s face, their range of version.

POV – Jason – the light green tinted scope puts Plushzilla nicely in the center of the crosshairs while a red reticle beeps and under it, it says “LOCKED ON”.

(FV) ZOOM IN on Jason’s face as he nods forcefully.

All right! Now FIRE!!

Ext. downtown area – day- hazy

WIDEN ON (UV) the Genkai GoGenKei as the Battle Cannon charges up and then FIRES an amazing ball of red energy.

CLOSE ON (SV) the ball of energy racing towards Plushzilla (OS).

WIDEN ON Plushzilla getting hit by the attack, which results in a MASSIVE explosion of smoke and sparks.

Plushzilla
Graaaaaaaah!!!!

CLOSE ON Plushzilla’s head as it comes out of the smoke

Heeeeh, heh, heh, heh…

WIDEN ON Plushzilla as the smoke clears.

And now it’s my turn! BRUAH!!!!

Plushzilla its head back and then flops it forward; shoot pink bolts of lightning from its mouth. PAN over to the Genkai GoGenKei as it gets hit by all the lightning, causing all sorts of dramatic explosions to occur.

Int. Genkai GoGenKei – control room/cockpit

WIDEN ON (FV) the Genkai Rangers as they flail around while all sorts of small explosions occur in the control room.

Jason, Van, Heero, Rick & Asuka
Wowwww! AH!

Heero
No! We’re going down!

Ext. downtown area – day – hazy

CLOSE ON the Genkai GoGenKei while it’s bombarded with explosions. It throws its Battle Cannon back as it falls over

Int. Jem’s house – Jem’s room

ZOOM OUT from behind Chelsey who’s standing out on the balcony in front of the door to Pocky and Jem still in front of the TV while all the explosion can be heard occurring not far from the house.

CLOSE ON (OV) Pocky turns to look over at Chelsey (OS).

Pocky
Saaaaay Chelsey, how’re the “ultimate defenders against the forces of evil” holding up?

POV – Pocky – the Genkai GoGenKei’s Battle Cannon goes flying across the sky (as seen through the opened door) and causes a huge explosion (OS).

Ext. Jem’s house – balcony – day – hazy

CLOSE ON (SV) Chelsey as she looks to her right (facing the screen) at the explosion that just occurred (OS) and sighs.

Chelsey
Well they just helped take out 40% of the suburbs…

CLOSE between Pocky and Jem while Chelsey can be seen in the background. Pocky sticks a finger in her ear and twists it around.

Pocky
Wooow…their on a roll! Eh Jem?

CLOSE ON Jem while he watches the news silently and blinks.

(OS)
Jem?

POV – Jem – Pocky turns around and sits up, waving her arm annoyingly in front of Jem’s face, trying to get his attention while he focuses on the news.

Jeeeeeeeeeeeem? Helloooooo?

Pocky’s voice beings to fade into a faint whisper in Jem’s mind as the news reporters’ coming from the TV gets louder.

News reporter (OS)
(from the television)
The Genkai Ranger’s battle with the creature now dubbed Plushzilla appears to now be getting worse by the second!

CLOSE ON the TV while it shows the Genkai GoGenKei drag itself up and continues to fight Plushzilla, only to get kicked around, with all sorts of destruction being caused

(OS)
The military is trying their best to evacuate the city as fast as possible but unfortunately it doesn’t seem like saving everyone will be possible.

CUT to show clips of destroyed buildings as a result of Plushzilla’s rampage.

(OS)
Many homes and other buildings have already suffered from the beast’s wrath while others can only await their fate and pray for a miracle.

CUT to a clip showing a crowd of college students helplessly standing against a window while they watch Plushzilla fight Genkai GoGenKei (OS).

CLOSE ON (FV) Jem’s face as his eyes widen.

Jem
Connie…

CLOSE ON the TV to show the college students again.

CLOSE ON Connie who’s one of the students behind that window watching the fight.

CLOSE ON (FV) Jem’s face while he sits still…speechless with his eyes widened.

Chelsey (VO)
You can take it as a traumatizing experience and grow to fear any kind of change,

CLOSE ON Connie on the TV screen again.

(VO)
Or you can take it as an opportunity to start things anew and undoubtedly for the better.

CLOSE ON (FV) Jem as he blinks slowly.

(OS)
And very rarely is it ever too late to take the other route when you know you’re ready.

CLOSE ON Pocky after she gave up trying to get Jem’s attention and went back to watching the TV.

Jem (OS)
POCKY!

Pocky blinks.

Pocky
Huh?

POV – over Jem’s shoulder – looking downward at Pocky, she turns her head and looks back at Jem.

Yeah? What is it?

Jem
I need you to save Connie.

CLOSE ON Pocky’s face as she blinks again, looking more confused.

Pocky
Huh? Save Connie? Why would you want me to do something like that?

CLOSE behind Pocky’s head as Jem quickly gets on his knees with his face RIGHT in front of hers with a strong pleading look on his face.

Jem
PLEASE POCKY! Go down to the college and save her! You’re the only one I know who could do it!!

CLOSE behind Jem’s head as Pocky frowns, growling a little as she leans over a bit.

POV – Pocky – she looks past Jem and sees Chelsey looking over at Jem and her from the corner of her eye.

CLOSE behind Jem’s head as Pocky closes her eyes and gets up.

Pocky
Hmm, fine.

WIDEN ON Jem and Pocky as she looks down at him and tightens her gloves.

But after this and bringing back your house,

CLOSE ON (UV) Pocky’s face as she glares down at Jem with her eyes narrowed.

You own me BIG time…

POV – Pocky – Jem nods willingly.

Jem
Sure thing.

CLOSE ON (UV) Pocky’s face as she grins and looks ahead.

WIIDEN behind Pocky while Chelsey looks back at her and Jem.

CLOSE ON Pocky’s face as she winks at Chelsey (OS) and turns around.

POV – balcony doorway – Pocky makes her way out of the bedroom while Jem remains on his all 4s and Pocky steps into the bedroom.

Chelsey
Jem? Where’d Pocky go?

POV – Chelsey – Jem sits up slowly with his back turned to Chelsey, his hands on his lap and his head lowered.

Jem
…I’m sorry.

Suddenly the house shakes.

Ext. Jem’s house – day – hazy

WIDEN ON the Jem’s house from across the street as Joshua the buffalo BURSTS out of the basement and through the front of the house. He skids across the front lawn and onto the road while pulling along the storage truck with Pocky riding on his back.

CLOSE ON Pocky as she regains her balance on the buffalo with a big grin on her face.

Ahhh that’s a good Joshua De La Augustine! Now onward! To wherever Connie’s college is!!

WIDEN ON (OV) Joshua as he moos and then suddenly JETS down the road at 200 miles per hour, leaving a big cloud of dust in his tracks. PAN over Jem’s house.

WIDEN ON the front of Jem’s house as it comically falls over, exposing everything inside. A few cricks and cracks can be heard, and then the entire house collapses in a very comical fashion.

Ext. downtown area – day – hazy

CLOSE ON the Genkai GoGenKei as it struggles to get back on it’s feet after another hard fall.

Int. Genkai GoGenKei – control room/cockpit

WIDEN ON the Genkai Rangers as they all groan and try their best to keep a hold on the controls while sparks go flying.

CLOSE ON Rick as he shakes his head a bit.

WIDEN ON (UV) the Genkai GoGenKei as it starts to magically turns gold and silver with new editions of armor appearing on its body such is bigger shoulder pads and robotic angel wings. ZOOM IN on the Genkai GoGenKei’s face and then ZOOM OUT as the giant mech does yet another obligatory action pose.

Perfect shining warrior! Heavenly purifier of evil in the universe! Golden armored warrior! Magna Genkai GoGenKei!!!

The Magna Genkai GoGenKei makes its pose in front of a gold and silver background with a fancy drawing of a 6-winged female angel in a glorious white dress.

Ext. College – day – hazy

WIDEN ON (OV) the college while everyone scatters from the building as fast as they can while destruction occurs all around them.

CLOSE ON Connie as she tries to run for her life but keeps bumping into help.

Ah! Hey! Watch it~Ah!!

Someone bumps into Connie’s shoulder and she falls over.

CLOSE (UV) behind Connie as she falls to her knees and twists her ankle.

Ah! …Ahhhhhh…

Connie looks over and feels her ankle.

POV – Connie looks down at her shoulder, knowing right away of its condition.

CLOSE ON Connie’s face while she looks saddened and defeated.

Suddenly a big explosion occurs (OS) and Connie looks ahead.

Huh?

PAN over to show the big cloud of dark smoke in the distance as Joshua the buffalo leaps out of it.

CLOSE ON Joshua and PAN up to Pocky while she excitedly rides on his back.

Pocky pulls her hand back and then swings it forward like a guillotine as she points at Connie (OS).

Pocky
And theeeeeeere she is!!!

Pocky blinks and looks up as a big shadow suddenly looms over her.

POV – behind Connie – a building randomly FALLS right in front of Pocky.

CLOSE ON (FV) Pocky’s face just centimeters away the fallen building while Joshua runs alongside it REALLY quickly.

Sh-sh-sh-sh-sh-sh-sh!!!!!

WIDEN ON Pocky as she pulls her face away from the building and sighs with relief.

FEW!!!

Pocky looks upward.

POV – beside Joshua’s back left leg while Pocky points up at another building in the background.

Lets make our way around that building Joshua! Hurry!

Mooooooo!!!

WIDEN ON the end of the building as Joshua skids into the turn. A BIG chunk of concrete smashes into the ground right in front of them like a meteor, causing a big cloud of dust to rise.

CLOSE ON (SV) Joshua as he leaps through the cloud seamlessly with Pocky turned to the audience while she coughs because of all the dust.

CLOSE ON (FV) Joshua as lands on the side of the building at least 20 floors up on his feet and starts running around it horizontally, defying all physics!

WIDEN ON Joshua running around the building’s side while the Magna Genkai GoGenKei’s battle with Plushzilla can be seen in the background.

CLOSE ON (OV) Pocky’s face while she grits her teeth.

Ok, now THIS can’t fail!

WIDEN ON the Magna Genkai GoGenKei as he steps back, raises its sword and slashes it, sending a POWERFUL golden slash at Plushzilla (OS)

POV – Magna Genkai GoGenKei – Plushzilla performs an anime cliché as he SMACKS the golden energy slash with the back of his hand and sends it flying towards the building Pocky and Joshua are running around!

WIDEN ON (UV) Joshua and Pocky as the energy attack hits the top of the building, causing a HUGE explosion!

CLOSE ON (OV) Pocky’s face while she looks up at the explosion (OS) with comical frustration.

Oh COME ON!!!

CLOSE ON (FV) Joshua while he runs around the building and Pocky looks over at him.

Nuts to this! Joshua I’m going ahead! Join me A-sap! Got it?!

Pocky gets up on Joshua and jumps off his side! PAN UP quickly to show Pocky leaping towards a random floor of the building while it’s beginning to collapse.

Int. office building – random rooms

(SV) Pocky does a cannon ball through the window, twirls around and then leaps over a desk and through every random (and empty) room of the entire floor, comically managing to climb around everything in her way and sending all sorts of stuff flying.

Run, run, run-run-run! Run, run, run, run, run, run!

CLOSE ON Pocky’s feet as she reaches the opposite end building floor and without hesitation, she jumps through the window (going OS).

CLOSE ON Pocky over dramatically diving out the building in SLOW MOTION.

ZOOM OUT very fast to behind Connie as Pocky falls in front of her just as fast with her arms held out.

CLOSE ON (OV) Pocky wrapping her arms around Connie as they both roll down the concrete path,

POV – over Pocky’s shoulder – they finally slide to a stop and Connie’s eyes tremble as she looks up at Pocky.

POV – Connie – Pocky looks down at Connie with a lot of sarcasm.

Yeah, yeah, you’re just lucky Jem practically ordered me to save you.

CLOSE ON Connie’s right eye was it widens.

POV – over Pocky’s shoulder – Connie screams as she points over Pocky’s shoulder.

Pocky looks over her shoulder.

WIDEN ON (FV UV) Connie and Pocky as a flaming ball of wreckage comes hurling towards them. Then all of the sudden Joshua leaps in and SMACKS the wreckage away with his head.

POV – Joshua – Pocky gets off Connie and sits up in front of Joshua.

Ha! Perfect timing Joshua!

CLOSE ON Connie’s face while she blinks with great confusion.

Now then,

Pocky grabs Connie by her shoulders and pulls her up (pulling her OS).

CLOSE ON Connie as Pocky plants her on the top of the storage truck.

Connie looks to her right. PAN over to reveal Reggie is sitting right beside her; he raises his hat to her.

POV – Connie – Pocky stands beside Joshua with her hands on her hips and Plushzilla fighting the Magna Genkai GoGenKei in the background.

As for me, I’m going go and quickly take care of Barney over there before I have to replace an entire city for your demanding ex-boyfriend.

Pocky leaps onto Joshua’s head and crouches.

Ok Joshua! Gimme a boost!

CLOSE ON (UV) Joshua’s head as he lowers it and with one powerful thrust, sends Pocky FLYING into the air.

WIDEN ON (OV) Connie sitting on the roof of a storage truck being pulled by a buffalo with a penguin wearing a hat beside her while she looks up at Pocky (OS) with her jaw dropped.

CLOSE ON (OV) Pocky spinning around in the air with her arms spread, she seems to float in midair as she looks down at Plushzilla and the Magna Genkai GoGenKei.

CLOSE ON (FV) Pocky’s face.

HEY! Plushzilla!

ZOOM OUT from Pocky as she pulls out a bazooka of her own from Hammerspace and aims it straight for Plushzilla (OS).

EAT THIS MEDIA CLICHÉ!!!

Pocky begins firing the bazooka rapidly at Plushzilla (OS) with am unlimited supply of ammo.

WIDEN ON (OV) Pocky while she’s fired al least 50 missiles already at Plushzilla.

POV – Pocky – the missiles run up Plushzilla’s back as they all hit him, causing big bursts of smoke to rise.

CLOSE ON (OV) Plushzilla’s head as he turns around and looks up at Pocky (OS).

CLOSE ON (UV) Pocky trying to fire more missiles but no more seem to come out.

Pocky
Huh?! Guess it did have a limited supply!

WIDEN ON (OV) Pocky as Plushzilla appears right in front of her with his mouth wide opened.

Crap!!!

WIDEN ON (SV) Plushzilla as he eats Pocky and swallows her with one gulp.

POV – Magna Genkai GoGenKei – Plushzilla smashes into the ground, causing a POWERFUL fissure that makes all the ground around him crumble.

CLOSE ON (UV) Connie, Reggie and Joshua as they watch helplessly.

The monster ate her!

Suddenly the fissure breaks up the ground around them and they all topple over under all the rubble.

AH!!

POV – Plushzilla – ZOOM IN on the Magna Genkai GoGenKei.

Int. Magna Genkai GoGenKei – control room/cockpit.

WIDEN ON (FV) the Genkai Rangers.

WIDEN ON (FV) the Magna Genkai GoGenKei as it pulls out a sword, holds it in front of him and then leaps into the air. LOOK UP (UV) as shining light swirls around the sword it holds high in the air.

FINAL ATTACK!

CLOSE ON the Magna Genkai GoGenKei as it RACES down towards Plushzilla like a falling meteor, holding its sword out as it swells with energy.

SHINING HEAVEN CUTTER!!!!

WIDEN ON (UV) the Magna Genkai GoGenKei as it SLAMS down Plushzilla with its throbbing golden sword, sliding Plushzilla right in half!!!

CLOSE ON Plushzilla’s face as shining line goes through it.

NOOOOOOOOOOoooooooo…!!!!!

WIDEN behind the Magna Genkai GoGenKei as Plushzilla falls back and explodes into a MASSIVE burst of light that covers the entire screen. The light fades, the Genkai GoGenKei loses its “magna” upgrade and it gets up slowly.

Int. Genkai GoGenKei – control room/cockpit

WIDEN ON (FV) the Genkai Ranger team celebrating in their triumph.

CLOSE ON (FV) Jason as faces the screen and grabs the controls.

Yeah! Alright guys, job well done. Let’s head home

WIDEN ON (UV) the Genkai GoGenKei as it suddenly splits back into its 5 separate vehicle forms and they all fly away into the distance.

(OV) FADE to show the entire city and that though they stopped Plushzilla, they also left the entire place in absolute ruin.

(UV) PAN across some random wreckage while Jem pants heavily (OS).

WIDEN ON (OV) Jem running through a devastated street as he reaches the downtown area.

Jem
Pocky? Connie? Chelsey? …ANYBODY????

CLOSE ON (FV) Jem while he looks around very worriedly and frightened.

CLOSE behind Jem as he climbs up some rumble and atop of the small hill, he sees survivors helping each other crawl out of the ruins.

CLOSE ON (FV) Jem’s face while the wind blows his shoulder length hair quietly.

It…it’s all gone…

POV – beside Jem – Jem watches onward quietly.
